It's winter driving today for anyone who has to hit the highway.
Environment Canada is calling for up to 5 cm. of snow today, with another 2-4 cm. tonight before it ends.
Highways in the area are generally bare and wet, but Highway 9 west to Calgary is snow covered with slippery sections.
Highway 9 east to Hanna is pretty good now, but Highway 56 north of the Morrin Corner is partly snow and ice covered. Caution is advised.
If you see something that other motorists should know about call Drum FM at 403-823-9911.
