Take care on your travels this afternoon. Several centimetres of snow has already fallen and there could be several more centimetres before it's done.
Most highways in the area are at least partly snow covered, although the ploughs have the major routes clear, at least in the driving lanes.
The wind is supposed to pick up this afternoon, which could pose visibility problems.
Carillion Canada has all of its trucks out keeping things driveable, but they warn the ploughs can be very difficult to see when they're working, so use caution when thinking about passing one.
