East Central Alberta experienced snow and high winds last night and that has affected roads around the region.
Highway 9 to Calgary is snow covered this morning with reduced visibility due to blowing and drifting snow. Caution is advised.
Highway 56 north of town and Highway 36 to the east are in better shape, although visibility might be down.
There was an accident last night on Highway 837 west of where it branches off from Highway 575, but the road should now be clear.
