A weather advisory has been issued for Hanna, Richdale, Drumheller, Rockyford, Rosebud and Three Hills.
Conditions are favourable for the development of funnel clouds this evening. These types of funnel clouds are produced by a weak rotation through a thunderstorm and is normally not a danger to ground.
There is a chance that the rotation could intensify and become a weak landspout tornado. Landspout tornadoes do not usually cause significant damage, but still can be dangerous. They can be strong enough to topple trees, damage roofs or toss debris a short distance.
