Birds are out chirping and it looks like finally warm weather is here for us, and for most of the prairies, it is.
There is a cyclone bomb in the United States right now that is set to go through some of Canada.
"Low pressure centers on the border between Nebraska and Iowa. It's tracking to the north-east, the only part that is being affected is extreme south-eastern Manitoba. It's going to go across Lake Superior, through Northern Ontario, past James Bay, Nothern Quebec and to Nunavut where it will stall out in Davis Streep," explained meteorologist for Environment Canada Bryan Proctor.
"Blizard conditions on the back side of the low-pressure center, ahead of the low they are seeing a lot of rain and flooding, things of that nature. They have seen several weather outbreaks relative to the south, close to one hundred miles an hour wind gusts in parts of Texas and Colorado," continued Proctor.
Proctor told 99.5 DumFM that this system would not affect us, and he has a good outlook for our near future.
"Better weather going forward, it's looking pretty nice, we could even see high teens next week. I would not be surprised to see mid to upper teens," concluded Proctor
Sit back and enjoy the weather, it looks like we are finally out of Winter.
