Earlier this month Reality Bytes, a local tech store, was robbed.

The store was closed at the time of the robbery as it happened early in the morning hours around 6 pm on February 10th.

John Shoff, the owner of Reality Bytes describes the robber.

"He had his face mostly covered. He actually came twice.  He scoped it (Reality Bytes) out at 4am one day.  The one guy had a head lamp on and when he looked at the camera, it just blinds the camera out."

What was stolen was a large commercial power generator, as seen in the video, which was rolled off the property and down the street by the thief.

Shoff says.

"he didn't go into a vehicle or anything.  It looks like he put a black towel or blanket over it and dragged it down the snow."

The RCMP is working on this case but asks the public, "If people can look at the video and recognize the person in the video, notify the RCMP, that would be most helpful."

In a tight-knit community like Drumheller, one can only hope that this thief is brought to justice.
