The Village of Beiseker continues to deal with high water.

"What we've got is a bunch of overland flooding that's coming out from surrounding areas," explained Mayor Al Henuset. "Everything just sort of graduates towards Beiseker."

Village crews are having a hard time keeping the water at bay.

"We're having difficulty handing it in some places," he admitted. "It's breached the ditches and it's going into some people's homes."

If flooding wasn't already enough, what about adding waste water back up?

"The sewer lines are full and as a result it's backing up peoples' basements," reported Henuset. "It's a serious condition."

If anyone has any questions they can contact the Village Office at 403-947-3774.  The Red Cross is set up at the Beiseker Community Centre if anyone needs assistance.
