New details from the Town of Drumheller state that the Red Deer will rise more by tomorrow afternoon.
The updated river forecast received for the Red Deer River indicates a 10-20cm increase by noon Wednesday April 25. River flow is not available at this time
If citizens are experiencing flooding in low lying area sandbags are available at the Public Works Building at 117 7th Avenue Drumheller. In addition sandbags will be available at the East Coulee water station and the Rosedale fire hall from 9pm.
The Town of Drumheller is working with the Alberta Emergency Management Agency and other provincial agencies as we monitor the situation.
Citizens are asked to stay to stay away from low lying areas.
