The Village of Beiseker will soon be transforming its streets and buildings for the filming of the third season of the television show, Fargo.
"We were kind of excited about this. We've had other movies and shows shot here, but this is probably the most involved one and lasting the longest. It's going to take most of the winter and into spring actually," stated Beiseker Mayor, Ray Courtman.
Beiseker's buildings and streets will be transformed to look just like Eden Valley.
"I guess there really is an Eden Valley somewhere in Minnesota, which our town is going to (be) modeled after. I think it's a little smaller than Beiseker, if I understand. It's a tiny little town somewhere near Fargo," explained Courtman.
Mayor Courtman was raving to 99.5 Drum FM about how excited he and the village are for having Fargo come to shoot in their little community.
"They just kept on saying that this is perfect, a perfect little Midwestern American town. They were very impressed and said they are going to have to do very little to turn Beiseker into Eden Valley, and they kept on telling that to us over and over again. Our small village would be easily converted to a Midwestern town," outlined Courtman.
The filming of Fargo is set to take place starting January 6, 2017.
