One of three people accused of stealing an ATM cash machine from a business in Hussar this summer has pleaded not guilty and will go to trial early in the new year.
Hailey Morrison appeared in Drumheller Provincial Court on Friday, August 24 via closed circuit television from the Calgary Remand Centre.
The 24 year old Drumheller resident was arrested along with Shawn Panteluk of Gleichen and Brett Voytko of Lethbridge on July 17 after thieves stole an ATM in Hussar and led police on a chase that ended in a farmer's field near Bassano.
The charges include break and enter and theft over $5,000, dangerous driving, flight from police and weapons charges.
Morrison will go to trial in Drumheller on January 25, 2019. Her co-accused have not yet entered pleas and also remain behind bars.
