If you're hoping to dig into the Town's financials and see what's going on, you're going to have to wait a bit longer.

Kristyne De Mott, one of the new Drumheller Town Councillors elected last October explained that the budget isn't quite done yet.

"We have been going through the budget [and it's] been a massive learning curve for me. I have never actually seen a budget this detailed, ever," she said.

Because there's still more work to do on the budget, Councillors will be having another dedicated budget meeting again soon to try and get it done.

"End of February we have another long haul meeting," elaborated De Mott. "They want it all done by Mid-March."

She says that it was very eye opening to see how much money the facilities in town actually take to run and function.

"There were a few questions on some things, but a lot of it is extremely straight forward, there is not a ton of wiggle room in things."
