The gift of giving never fails in the Town of Drumheller.

The Heart to Heart Society received a donation last week from one of Drumheller's businesses.

The gifted donation was for $2000 donated by The Co-operators and ProPlan Financial Group presented by Roger Stevenson.

"It's really great to have a donation of this kind. It really helps out a lot," expressed Tom Diprose, member of the Heart to Heart Society.

Earlier this year the Heart to Heart Society had a fundraiser set at the Badlands Community Facility called the Heart to Heart Walk that seen the organization raise upwards to $6000. All donated by the people of Drumheller.

"It helps us get the equipment that's needed at the hospital for any heart related incident," commented Diprose.

Diprose also went on to say that another local business in town made a sizable donation recently but hasn't confirmed the amount, yet is still very grateful for the support.

"It's always needed but right now we are purchasing 24 hour blood pressure monitors," he continued. "They're $3,400 a piece so hopefully we can get at least two or three."

Diprose expressed his gratitude towards the people and businesses of Drumheller for their continued support.
