From April 22 until the 27th the Addams Family took over the Kaleidoscope Theatre.
The musical featured Wednesday Addams - the princess of darkness, falling in love with a smart young man from a respectible family.
"A lot of the story line were in the songs. So, if you listen to the lyrics of the songs, it helps to build to story line. The songs were just fun, and funny and some not so funny, but it went along with the story line so it worked very well," said Becky Neuman, director of the Addams Family.
Most of the cast had little to no experience in an acting role, but they did an excellent job.
"Everbody loved it, I had more people come up to me and talk about this show than I have ever had before. They loved the humor and the students were outstanding in their roles and they brought that out. It was a great show," beamed Neuman.
The musical averaged approximately 45-50 people per night, and Neuman is hoping that there are plans in the future to do another show next year.
"It is a great opportunity for the kids. The kids that are normally not so involved in sports and some of the other activities, this gives them an outlet and they grow together as a family. It is fun to watch the process," explained Neuman.
