Drumheller has noticeable road work being done and it's assured that, for the most part,  it's all on schedule.

From road crews working to replace medians on Highway 9 North too the Hunts Crescent road getting the full cosmetic treatment, Drumheller is in a decent spot when it comes to completing current road projects.

"(They're expecting to be in) Asphalt paving mode around the 27 (of August)," explained Drumheller CAO, Darryl Drohomerski. "The work up in Hunts Crescent should be ready for paving by then."hunts1Contracting crews are currently removing old asphalt

Drohomerski noted that some earlier wet weather this summer did hinder the process of road work in North Drumheller but that looks to be a non-issue for completing that project.

"I think they've been a bit delayed on North Drum(heller) with doing some of the concrete work," he said. "They would do an excavation and then it would rain a little bit and so the ground would be a little soft. But, they are coming along with that."

"I would suspect that, probably by about, the second weekend of September. Sort of that, seventh or eighth of September, is suspected that most of the asphalt will be done in town so, that would be great. Provided that the weather co-operates with us."
