Update Mar. 26: Rcmp have named two people charged with stealing a work truck and tractor from Acme and Irricana, respectively. 19 year old Dustin Jackson of Linden is charged with break and enter and committing an offense. A warrant has been issued for the arrest of 29 year old Matthew Jay Toews of Linden.

We often hear stories of vehicles and equipment stolen from rural properties, but it's not too often we get to tell you that they have been found.

On March 11, Beiseker RCMP received a report of a tractor stolen from a farm near Irricana. Eight days later, a picker truck was taken from an Acme concrete business.

RCMP received tips from the public that indicated the same people were responsible for both thefts. Their investigation led them to a Linden man.

On March 20 police recovered the stolen truck in Rosetown, Saskatchewan and the tractor near Alsask, on the Alberta-Saskatchewan border. Both are being returned to their rightful owners.

Charges are pending against a 19-year-old Linden man who has been released on a promise to appear in Airdrie Provincial Court on May 3. A warrant will be issued for a second, unidentified man.
