Back on January 15th, Fountain Tire in Drumheller was broken into and a service truck was stolen. One of the perpetrators was caught that same day but the other that took the vehicle from Fountain Tire continued his criminal acts between Three Hills and Bashaw.

On Tuesday, the suspect was involved in an accident with a school bus just south of Red Deer near the Red Deer Airport. After the accident, a passerby stopped at the scene to see if she could help. The suspect pulled out a firearm and proceeded to take the woman's vehicle, a 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander with an Alberta license plate BNR-6558.

Reports say that the bus had seven students and the driver. Two of the students had minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

The suspect is male:
- Caucasian
- 5’11" tall
- Dark wavy hair
- Black skull bandana pulled up covering the lower half of his face
- Dark jacket with the hood covering his head
- Dark cargo pants

If you come in contact with the suspect, do not approach, call 911 immediately. If you find the vehicle abandoned, contact your local RCMP detachment.

If you have any information about the whereabouts of the suspect between January 16th and 22nd, please call your local RCMP or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
