On March 21, at approximately 9:00am, Stettler RCMP were alerted to a suspicious person requesting assistance in replacing a tire on a vehicle, at a rural property in the Big Valley/Byemoor area.

Stettler RCMP and Blackfalds Integrated Traffic members tracked the vehicle to another rural property where it was ditched and an F-350 stolen.

With the assistance of the public, police were able to roughly track the F-350 as it proceeded North towards Stettler.

Grams has been remanded into custody to attend court on Monday March 26th. He is facing charges including Theft of MV, Possession of Stolen Property, Flight from Police, Mischief among others.

Stettler RCMP would like to thank the general public for their assistance and timely reporting of the incidents that resulted in the successful arrest of a known property offender.
