Music teacher at St. Anthony's, Lauire Lotts, was very proud and impressed with her students saying, "One of the sessions, the teachers can go and listen. And then the final performance is on the Friday. It's the best from around the province. The were amazing. They sounded awesome."

The Southern Alberta Honor Band meet annually and students from all over south Alberta are chosen to perform at the Calgary Teacher Convention.

Lotts concludes with, "It's awesome for the kids to come back from Calgary and share the experience. They grow as musicians and they have a chance to work with an extrodinary conductor. They learn a lot and share that with other students and a quite a bit of peer coaching comes with that as well."

Well done to our music students, Tim Carlson and Anika Lawson.
