It was a very important and memorable day for some students in Drumheller.
The graduating class of 2017 at St. Anthony's School received their high school diplomas at the convocation ceremony in the school gym on the morning of June 3.
This year there is a total of 17 students graduating from St. Anthony's School.
St. Anthony's Principal, JoAnne Akerboom, carried out the ceremony which included speeches from Drumheller Mayor Terry Yemen, Drumheller- Stettler MLA Rick Strankman, Battle River-Crowfoot MP Kevin Sorenson, and Trustee for Christ the Redeemer Catholic Schools Mark Chung
The Grand March is scheduled for 5:00p.m and will take place at the Badlands Community Facility.
Many of the graduates received generous scholarships and bursaries to help them further their continuing education.
