The ballrooms at the Badlands Community Facility were colour coordinated as soon to be newlyweds gathered for the annual Wedding Showcase.
Organizer Charlotte Stokes figures around 200 brides to be and guests took in Sunday's event.
"Girls are going crazy for the pockets, that seems to be the thing this year," she remarked. "Lots of clapping and "aah's" when we saw the bridal dresses."
The four hour Wedding Showcase featured two fashion shows on the BCF stage, plus numerous exhibitors offering everything a prospective bride might want.
"A lot of brides are actually looking for event planners," noted Stokes. "Something neat we had this year was Wanderlust Events Inc., they came and they decorated tables specific to brides' colour and theme and it really helps the bride to figure out what they want for their wedding, as well as getting all those rentals."
"I'm seeing things this year that I wish I would have incorporated into my own wedding, especially the whole event decorator and event planner aspect of it."
