It's been a busy year for the Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce and they're hard at work putting plans in place for 2018.
One of the first big events of the year for the Chamber is the annual Spring Expo at the Greentree Mall.
"The fourth annual Spring Expo Trade Show will be in Drumheller the third week of April," reported Chamber Services Coordinator Marley Heneigh. "It'll be Friday, Saturday and Sunday, so the 20th to the 22nd."
The 2017 Spring Expo drew close to 1,500 people over the three days as they checked out what close to 60 different vendors and exhibitors had to offer.
"This year, we are adding a Taste of Drumheller area to the trade show so that we can feature some of our local restaurants and catering businesses and any other food service related businesses in the area," announced Henneigh.
"The trade show will be sort of your typical home and garden style show with clothing and accessories and home and garden products, recreation, anything you can think of really," she added. "Then the Taste of Drumheller section will be food and beverages from local businesses."
This year's Spring Expo included an entertainment stage, which Henneigh says proved popular, and they'll do it again next year.
