The Greentree Mall was the place to be on the weekend as the Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce held their Spring Expo for the fourth year.

EXPO JASONDrum FM Morning Show Host Jason Blanke."Our numbers were actually down a little bit from last year, but very close," admitted Chamber Services Coordinator Marley Henneigh. "We had about 1,320 people come through over the three days."

This year's Expo featured some new events, along with popular returns from 2017.

"The pony rides out front seemed like a big hit; I know every time I popped out there it was quite busy," related Henneigh. "We had a magic show with Lothar, we had a fashion show (and) some great music from the Hussar Fine Arts Society."

After a very busy weekend, Henneigh and the other Expo organizers are taking a few days before doing a debriefing.

"Our committee will be having a wrap-up meeting in a couple weeks," she told 99.5 Drum FM. "We will take all feedback and start figuring our what to fix and what to keep the same for next year."

If you'd like to be a part of planning the next Spring Expo, call Marley at the Chamber of Commerce.

The next big event for them is the Celebration of Excellence on June 15.
