There was some commotion yesterday in the early afternoon. A semi-truck pulling a backhoe decided to throw caution to the wind and drove through many overhead signs in Drumheller.

Three signs are reported damaged, one hanging light as well and an overhead power pole anchor line severed.

The truck was reported traveling west on South Railway Avenue and proceeded through town towards Morrin.

He was later seen parked at the Morrin weigh scale.

More details from the RCMP to come.
