Those who served were honoured today in the Drumheller Valley.
The Badlands Community was filled with people honouring our veterans.
There were prayers led by Pastor Micheal Fletcher, as well as the reading of the Honour Roll by Morgan Johnson Tate and Katie Hanik. Music was performed by the Pioneer Singers Choir, the local Girl Guides recited In Flanders Fields and Larry Barber did a tribute to the veterans
Local Veteran, Larry Keddie told 99.5 Drum FM he appreciated the turnout.
"It makes me feel wonderful, seeing the support of the community, the support of the people here, for the veteran. We're always amazed at the support that we get, and the turnout for this service."
Keddie served in the Chaplains Branch of the Canadian Forces Reserve for almost 20 years.
"Remembrance Day has become more than just remembering those who gave their lives," Keddie added, "It is also something we do to honour the Veterans, as Larry Barber said in his speech, it's the present day veterans as well as our future ones that we remember."
"If we stop doing this, then we will miss out on a lot of things, and we will lose our freedom."
Remembrance Day ceremonies were also held in East Coulee, Carbon, Delia and Hanna today.
