If it was an injury, Drumheller's new indoor pool would be listed as day to day, or perhaps week to week.

The new gradual entry pool liner was supposed to be ready for its big debut on November 16, but staff noticed a leak that robbed the pool of more than a foot of water a day.

A statement from Town Hall says divers were deployed to locate the leak. It was found and repaired, but a new problem has cropped up.

The statement says during the repairs, a deficiency was noted with the pool ladders and it's been decided to fix them before refilling the pool.

Once that is done, water samples will have to be sent off to Public Health before the all-clear is given to re-open the pool. No date for that has been given.
