It seems there is construction in the valley at every turn.

It leaves us to wonder when the Ploeg Street construction is going to start.

Many from Nacmine and surrounding areas are expecting to be detoured soon.

"Part of the project is a re-alignment of Ploeg Street, so they will be doing that, and won't be looking to detour traffic until the 27th or so of the month," explained Drumheller CAO Darryl Drohomerski.

The construction project caused concern from those in the area, due to the heavy traffic that the summer season can cause.

"I think they were delayed on a couple of other projects before they could get here. Which is just perfect for us because it actually made sure there was no interruptions or interference of Passion Play traffic and stuff in the summer time. So, that is good," continued Drohomerski.

"I know that they are still looking to be done by the end of September," said Drohomerski.
