Everyone loves when weekends come along, except this weekend we will be losing an hour of our time.
Daylight Savings Time hits us on Sunday, March 12, at 2:00 a.m. when we need to 'spring' ahead one hour. This means the sun will rise later. but daylight will extend longer into the evening.
Did you know that in Canada, Saskatchewan, parts of British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec's north shore don't follow the time change? In the United States, Arizona and Hawaii don't follow DST. Other places like China, India and Japan also don't follow DST.
Studies show that with losing an hour of sleep, our appetites can be thrown off and we're encouraged to sleep extra on Sunday.
Don't forget to spring ahead this Sunday!
