The Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce is preparing for the 2017 Spring Expo with big additions to the event in mind.
The Spring Expo registration started in October.
"We got a number of returning vendors from last year and a couple new ones already coming in as well. We are only about a quarter sold so far but it will pick up closer to the event. We have 94 booths available and we will get around 60 or 70 some exhibitors and we look at in is in more in terms of booth sales because some of them do purchase multiple booths together," explained Marley Henneigh, Services Coordinator for the Drumheller and Distract Chamber of Commerce.
There will be some new and exciting additions to the event that will help with the participants of the Spring Expo.
"We will have a entertainment stage next year as well and most likely local performers I think is what we will primarily aim for and we want to use it as a way for local businesses and groups to (do) different displays and to do performances or demonstrations. This is the third year of it and will take place April 21 to 23 of next year," stated Marley.
If Drumheller residents are interested in booking a booth, who should they contact?
"You can get in contact by calling at the Chamber 403-823-8100 or they can email us through our website drumhellerchamber.com or we also have the exhibitor application on our website. We have an early bird discount on the booths until December 31, so if you book a booth before December 31 of this year you save $50 dollars off of each booth."
