Vice Principal, Shelley Friesen

Greentree School got a new Vice Principal on January 8th of this year.

Shelley Friesen comes to Greentree from Strathmore, where she has been living for the past four years. "I actually moved to Strathmore, and have been living in Strathmore for about four years, but have been previously working as an instructional coach with Golden Hills School Division."

Friesen said that this is the first time she has been an administrator, but she is enjoying the change. "The staff and students are quite lovely here, it's the first time that I have been in an administrator, so this is all new to me, but everybody has been really helpful, and welcoming, and I think that it is a wonderful community."

Friesen told 99.5 Drum FM that she is teaching, as well as doing her vice principal duties. "I am teaching Phys Ed during the first six periods of the day, and then I have administration duties in the afternoon."

Welcome to Drumheller, Shelley Friesen!
