The Atlas Coal Mine has some exciting news.
They are about to install some new signage at the attraction.
"There is a total of 24 signs that the staff have been working on that we will reveal to the public," said Curator at the Atlas Coal Mine, Jay Russell.
"We have been waiting for the signs for a long time," explained Russell. "It is refreshing and it reinterprets some of the buildings and storylines."
Russell added that it has been a long time coming as the project got underway 3 years ago.
"Rotary and the Canadian Badlands have been so helpful with us and of course over the years. So much help from both of those organizations and places like Canalta," noted Russell. "One thing I love about Drumheller is that people really come together."
He approximates that half the signs will be put up on August 7.
