Drumheller's destination marketing organization is undergoing something of a makeover and the after pictures look great. travel book
Travel Drumheller held a networking session on Tuesday, March 14 to unveil their new website and Exploration Guide for 2017.
"It's a full magazine size this year and the reason for that was we really wanted to focus on editorial content of the guide and the story telling of the area," explained Travel Drumheller executive director Alyssa Bery. "The stories were all written by a former Calgary Herald journalist, Lisa Kadane, so it actually tells the sort of deeper story of the valley."
So, why the bigger, better guide?
"It provides a better brand look for Travel Drumheller," replied Berry. "That's the first thing people see, like if you're in a tourist centre and you pick that up, it really sort of gives your first impression of coming to Drumheller and what that looks like."
"You'll be able to pick it up at all of the main, local tourist places: all the hotels, restaurants, bed and breakfasts, all those sorts of things and then it'll be in all the visitor information centres throughout the province."
