In addition to the annual Miners Day festivities in Drumheller, there will be a movie premiere at the end of this month.

Independant filmmaker Dennis Envoldsen has been working on the short film In My Bones for a few years now.

"He not only has original footage, but he's also managed to find family Super 8 films and stuff as part of his film so there is family footage of old parades in Drumheller from the late 50's (and)  early 60's," Jay Russell, curator of the Atlas Coal Mine explained.

The twenty minute long film will premiere at the Napier Theatre at 2:00 p.m. on April 30, in conjuction with the Miners Day festivities: admission will be by donation.

"It is so emotional and it just makes me so proud of our story here in Drumheller," Russell added.
