With the Festival Of Lights coming up on Saturday, November 18, Mayor Heather Colberg is quite pleased with the event.

"I am so exicted for this Festival of Lights.  That's another thing, again, on the campaign trail people were asking for, more community events."

A great event for the family, it will be happening from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.

"I am so proud of the Chamber, FCSS, some of the downtown merchants, volunteers, Rotary has pitched in and helped us.  It's just amazing how, again, the community pulls together to make a great event." remarked Colberg.

The Community Christmas Tree is also back downtown, after being at the fountain for the past 20 years, and the Mayor says it shows we are uniting the community.

Drum FM will be live on location from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to celebrate with the community.

The event will wrap up with fireworks viewed from John Anderson Park behind the Badlands Community Facility.
