The first Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce Lunch and Learn Series kicks off on Tuesday, February 21.
This is an opportunity for local businesses to network and become educated on a variety of topics.
Mark Scholtz is the President of the Canadian Association of Oilwell Drilling Contractors and is coming to speak at the Lunch and Learn Series.
"Mark and the rest of the association are touring around and speaking out publicly and trying to drum up support for the Canadian oil and gas industry as well as promoting safer and  efficient operations," explained Marley Henneigh with the Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce. "They also speak to the effects of the oil and gas industry on families that are employed there."
The Chamber of Commerce has six different Lunch and Learn Series scheduled.
"This is the first of our 2017 Chamber Lunch and Learn Series. They usually go from 11: .m until 1:00 p.m. He will be speaking at 12:00p.m for about 45 minutes," noted Henneigh.
The deadline to purchase tickets is noon on February 17.
