The trial of a Castor area man charged with murdering three members of his family has been delayed again.
Jason Klaus and Joshua Frank each face three counts of first degree murder in connection with the deaths of Gordon and Sandra Klaus and their daughter, Monica, whose remains were found in a burnt out farm house near Castor in December, 2013.
The trial was supposed to start today (Oct. 11) but was delayed two weeks so the defense lawyers can prepare to fight the admissibility of undercover evidence. The adjournment was granted on Tuesday.
The defense had sought a judicial stay in August, arguing the case has dragged on too long since Klaus and Frank were arrested in 2014. Both of the accused are in custody awaiting trial.
