Drumheller man Aaron Johnston probably cannot stop smiling right now.
Johnston, along with his parents, Mary and Gavin, have just won 9.6 million dollars.
The family purchased a $4 quick pick LOTTO 6/49 ticket at Barrmart Foods in Barrhead, where Johnston's parents live.
"Winners tell us a lot of the time that they want to take care of their family but this is taking care of that right at the source, when two parents and a son come in and claim it together." said Kevin van Egdom with the Western Canada Lottery Corporation.
While this is some exciting news for the Johnston family, the reality has not quite yet set in.
"He told us that his mom called and he was driving. She told him to pull over; he thought something was wrong, but when she told him, he was like 'wow'. But being a hard working Albertan, he just went right back to work." chuckled van Egdom.
The Johnston's haven't said what they plan to do with their windfall.
