A Drumheller man has been arrested in connection with a police chase earlier this month.
RCMP found Darcy Ewing at a rural residence in Starland County and arrested him without incident.
The 47 year old was wanted on multiple outstanding warrants, including resisting arrest and obstructing a police officer, taking a motor vehicle without consent and failing to comply with a probation order. The warrant stemmed from July 20, where it is alleged Ewing fled from police in a vehicle after they attempted to arrest him.
Police recovered the vehicle, which he was not to be in possession of. He was remanded into custody following a judicial hearing and will be appearing in Drumheller Provincial Court on August 10
Drumheller RCMP want to thank the public for providing tips that helped them to locate Ewing.
