Last Christmas, Western GM in Drumheller did ATCO Electric a favour by offering its shuttle bus to take people to and from their Christmas party. This week, ATCO returned the favour by donating to Western's chosen charity, the Drumheller Salvation Army.

"This has been a partnership we've done for several years: Western GM has volunteered vehicles and we've used it," explained Graham Giffin of ATCO Electric in Drumheller. "So, we have a donation to the Salvation Army this year for their needs, which are quite great this year."

The amount on the cheque is $395, which was raised at the ATCO Christmas party.

"It was all raised from the staff," noted Giffin. "We took donations at the door, plus we had some other bottle money."

"It's fun to get together with people from the community and businesses, and the support from our local businesses is amazing," responded Captain Shane Hillier, who accepted the cheque on behalf of the Salvation Army.
