The Badlands Community Facility will be decking the halls with a Trail of Trees.
"So far, I believe we have 14 trees being donated to be set up at the facility on December 2. It's going to turn into kind of a Christmas forest at the facility," stated Erica Crocker, Booking and Customer Service Specialist for the BCF.
The Trail of Trees event will start at 7:00 p.m. on December 2 and run until 9:30.
"Everything will be set up and ready to go. There will be carollers, hot chocolate, cookies and we made a little special phone call up to the North Pole and Santa's going to be there," outlined Crocker.
If someone is interested in bringing in a tree, Crocker told 99.5 Drum FM that they should get in touch with Charlotte Stokes of the BCF.
"Coordinate with her that you will be bringing a tree. It doesn't have to be an organization within the town, it can be a family, group of friends or sports team. They can come in, bring a tree and decorate it however they want. It has to be just shy of six feet, no more than six feet," Crocker explained.
This event is working in partner with the Salvation Army here in Drumheller.
"Hopefully families that don't have Christmas trees can now have one. We're excited about that. We want to make a little bit of a difference here and it would be nice to make that impact on a family," expressed Crocker.
