Trade shows give the best opportunity for local groups and businesses to connect with the residents, and the next opportunity is just right around the corner.
The 2017 Spring Expo is scheduled for April 21 to the 23 at the Greentree Mall.
"We are starting to book in entertainment, so that's exciting. We have special guests that will be joining us at the expo, I don't want to spoil the surprise too much, but kids will like them a lot," stated Marley Henneigh, Chamber Services Coordinator for the Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce.
Henneigh added that the booth sales are going great. They have around 15 to 20 left, which means about 70 per cent has already been sold.
The Drumheller Chamber is also hoping to get local groups to host fundraising barbecues and more.
"We're looking for swag bag donations as well. We will be giving out swag bags to the attendees and if anyone has promotional items they want to put in the bags, we will be accepting those, as well as some door prizes and other items," Henneigh mentioned.
The 2017 Spring Expo runs from 3:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on the Friday, 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on the Saturday and 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on the Sunday.
