The Badlands Community Facility is gearing up for a action packed day for the Women's Health and Fitness Retreat.
"We are going to be having check in at 8:30 in the morning until 5:00 followed by our first speaker," stated organizer Amber Leavitt.
Leavitt mentioned that there will be four different speaker series.
"Health and Love Healing about nutrition which will be Tina performing that speaker series, we're going to have Margi from Free Space Organizing Solutions talking about how we can organize our lives, we will have True Colours coming from the Edmonton area talking about personalities and colours that go with it, as well as we're going to be having some Reiki happening. That along with fitness sessions, it's going to be a good day."
Make sure you bring gym gear, a yoga matt and a prepared mind set for a full day of health and wellness.
The event starts at 8:00 a.m. on February 25.
"Before that we want to make sure everyone is checked in and make sure they have food in their bodies. We will have some snacks to make sure they're ready for a full day of fitness because we're going right until 5:30 in the evening," explained Leavitt.
There is a maximum on how many people will be accepted this year.
"We're only going to be accepting 30 people this year. We hope that this is going to be a really big thing this year and we can follow through next year as well as having it opened up to more people,"
