There comes a time in our lives when we could all use some inspiration and a Drumheller mother-daughter duo has given that to us.

Heather and Madison Colberg created a website, HCM Lifestyle, to share inspiring stories.

"Madison and I decided that due to the fact we love inspiring stories and ideas, we weren't able to find things on one particular website. We decided to create a website and that's really all it is, inspiring stories and ideas from everyday people," Heather Colberg explained.

"Even if the story is a little sad, there's always something inspiring at the end of it because we can all learn from each other and everyone has a story in one way or another."

The stories don't have to have a particular title or a particular topic. The story or idea has to be what inspires you.

"I have one lady writing a story about a recipe her grandma made for her when she was young and how it inspired her to become a cook," noted Colberg.

"You can check out our website at On there, there's a button where it says 'Share Your Story'. You can write your story, attach your pictures and it automatically comes to us. We upload them as the stories come in and that's all that happens, it's really that simple."

So far, the mother-daughter duo has had some tremendous feedback with a lot of support from the community.

Besides sharing inspiring stories and ideas, HCM Lifestyle is giving local entrepreneurs the opportunity to promote on their website with no strings attached.

"There's no fee attached, we're not asking for any funds; all we're trying to do is encourage people to be better," expressed Colberg.
