The spring thaw has brought concerns of flooding in the valley.
An ice build up on the creek through Rosedale has flooded the Rosedale Campground and nearby yards.
"My neighbour came over and she lives just across the bridge by the old Rosedale Campground and she had knee high gumboots on and she said the water in her whole yard is up to her gumboots," explained Rita Johnston, who lives in the affected area.
That eye witness account was also confirmed by Bob Cromwell who lives down the street from Johnston.
"Yeah there's some properties that have been damaged, completely surrounded by water," he said. "Earlier this afternoon the ice jam was up closer to Wayne, it's broke through there and came ripping through here (Rosedale), piled up, dammed up and came to a grinding halt."

Rita Johnston has been watching the level very closely and says their place is not far from the creek.
"We're close. The ice is right up to the edge but we have a ways before it'll get up to our house but it is nerve-wracking because the ice was flowing freely and then it keeps stopping and it's just still," described Johnston.
Numerous Town of Drumheller vehicles were spotted in the affected area and town crews are monitoring the situation.
