Saturday's ice jam on the Rosebud Creek through Rosedale has grown Sunday morning.
One resident said the ice let go Saturday night around 10:30 but then it stopped, forcing water to back up. Carillion has closed highway 10X to Wayne Sunday morning as the highway has flooded near the curve past bidge number 1 enroute to Wayne.

"Got home last night and the water was free flowing from the ice build up and I thought 'Ok that's a good sign', bu then when I woke up bright and early this morning, it was still dark out but I could see the jam and in 30 years the water has never been over the creek bank," described Tracy Symowoniuk, who lives beside the creek.
She estimates the water is about 40 feet from spilling into her neighbour's basement. She feels her place is back far enough and shouldn't experience any flooding.

The creek empties into the Red Deer River where there appears to be a large ice jam, which is causing many of the problems.
"I'm housing sitting the 11 bridges campground, (the owners) are in Mexico and of course, they're possibly on their way home now because their establishment is under water," said Symowoniuk.
Town crews are aware of the situation and are monitoring it very closely. Mayor Terry Yemen notified Drum FM news and says the ice jam has let go somewhat and levels are dropping.
