The third annual Wedding Show is coming up, but once the snow is finally gone.

The event takes place on Sunday, March 5 at the Badlands Community Facility.

"It's really the perfect facility for any kind of event, weddings especially. The halls can be all three which can facilitate up to 450 people (or) you can have a small event of 100. We've got that beautiful terrace overlooking the panoramic views of the Red Deer River, a commercial kitchen to facilitate those kinds of things, so we're really excited to showcase what we have this year," explained Erica Crocker, Booking and Customer Specialist with the BCF.

The wedding show will start at 10:00 a.m. and run until 2:00 in the afternoon on March 5.

"We're teaming up with Canalta and A New Faye Rentals. We're holding two fashion shows, one at 11:00 and one at 1:00. It will be held by Cottonwood Bridal out of High River, they're going to have beautiful models come walk down the runway in beautiful gowns," mentioned Charlotte Stokes, Marketing and Sales Officer for the BCF.

"We're also going to be having A New Faye Rentals decorate all the tables for the brides. If brides submit their colours and themes by March 5, we'll be able to set up a table for them to see exactly what their table will look like in our facility," Stokes added.

If vendors send in their applications prior to January 2, 2017 they will receive 10 per cent off their booth fees as part of their early bird special.

"February 5 is the final deadline for vendors and brides-to-be who want to submit their colour and themes to New Phase Rentals," outlined Crocker.
