It was another rodeo weekend in Hanna as the town east of Drumheller celebrated its annual Indoor Pro Rodeo for the 32nd year.

"Sunday was down a bit, but the farmers were able to get out in the field so they were going, and that's understandable."

"We started with our Queen Fashion Show and speeches Tuesday night and that was jam-packed and sold out," noted Rehill. "We had all our contestants modelling and saying their speeches there. We've had lunches with the different business every day since then."

The winner was Alli Sauer, who will represent Hanna at other rodeos and public events over the next year.

"The horse parade at 10:30 that (Sat.) morning was good, but I saw the kids were all wrapped up with toques and stuff, no cowboy hats," Rehill mentioned as one of her highlights. "They had their toques on, but they were in the parade."

With the rodeo over for another year, Rehill said they will take a short break before starting to plan for next year. For results from this year's rodeo, click here.
