It's D-Day for the old clubhouse at Dinosaur Trail Golf and Country Club.
The golf club decided to tear down the old building as the new clubhouse is able to house everything, including a pro shop, restaurant and indoor golf.
The work was supposed to take place on Monday, February 27, but delays in getting an inspection for hazardous materials like asbestos pushed things back to this week.
The Town of Drumheller has agreed to handle the heavy work of knocking down the old clubhouse and hauling it to the landfill.
Golf club president Greg Morrow told 99.5 Drum FM they still haven't decided what to do with the space freed up when the clubhouse is gone, but suggestions have covered everything from a practice putting green to golf cart parking.
