RCMP have issued an arrest warrant in connection with fraud attempts at three east central Alberta banks this past summer.
On June 2, a man went to the TD Canada Trust branches in Stettler, Three Hills and Hanna and tried to fraudulently transfer money from a victim's account to another.
Police say he provided fraudulent ID in the name of an account holder and sought to have $18 000 transferred to another account under the premise that it was to be used to help his daughter purchase a vehicle.
51year old Andrew Christopher Nick is facing five charges including fraud, false pretences, identity fraud and other related offences.
If anyone has information on his whereabouts they're asked to contact their nearest RCMP detachment or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
