Drumheller is slowly becoming a more popular region for film production.

A total of four panelists from Calgary were in attendance and each shared a presentation, which was followed by a question and answer period with the audience.

"When I come and shoot a movie or a commercial whether you own a coffee shop or a welding shop or anything I will need you services," explained Terry Marsh, a veteran production designer. "We touch every industry and every occupation you can imagine. We spend money and when we leave you should never know we were here, we are the perfect industry."

The panel mentioned they would be willing to set up a workshop in Drumheller on 'stage etiquette' if they can generate enough interest.

"We live in a complicated world, this is an oil and gas province. Film, I think, is one of the perfect industries to diversify."

"I have worked out in Drumheller lots, all across Canada, and in a little over 20 countries around the world," added Marsh.
