Inspectors will be headed for Rosedale today to go through the remains of a home that burned overnight.

Crews were called out shortly after 1:00 a.m. to a property on Highway 10X to Wayne.

Drumheller fire chief Bruce Wade didn't know the owner's name, but he said it was a home that had been flooded when the Rosebud River backed up because of a weekend ice jam.

No-one was home at the time and no-one was hurt fighting the blaze.

The cause is under investigation.
